Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1.All works submitted for publication in the magazine must be unpublished and of original authorship.

2. The works may be: research reports, scientific articles and critical essays framed in Economic and Administrative Sciences and related sciences.

3. Individual or collective works may be submitted, by no more than three authors.

4.The works must be accompanied by a cover page, with complete information about the article, the name of the author(s) - these names should only appear on this cover page - and the CV of each of the author(s). of no more than 4 lines with the following data: academic degrees, current position, institution, research group - if applicable - and email and orcid of each one. The order of authors must correspond to the level of participation in the work.

5.The length of the work must be from 15 pages to 20 pages, including graphs and tables. The capture format must be in Word, with Times New Roman font at 12 points with 1.5 line spacing; general margins at 2.5 centimeters; and lower pagination at the end of the page. Charts and graphs must indicate title at the top and source at the bottom.

6. All jobs must have:
Title in Spanish and English.
Summary and Abstract, no more than 200 words.
Keywords and Keywords (in English), no more than 5.
Introduction or presentation of the article.
Theoretical, conceptual or referential development of the research / Literature review.
Methodology/Methodological Design of the research.
Discussion or argumentation of the results
Conclusions and social, business or governmental implications (scopes of work).
Bibliographic references according to the APA Manual 6.
Footnotes may be used.
All works must include the corresponding JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) code on the first page.

7. Citations and references must comply with the following format:
Citations in the text: Author's last name, year: reference page numbers. Example: Gardner, 1998: 217.
References or sources consulted, in alphabetical order: Last name, initial of the author(s). (year). Name of the article or chapter. Name of the book or source (pages, month and volume if applicable). Country: publisher. Example: James, W. (1998). The problem of being. The great essays of science (pp 57-61). Mexico: Editorial Patria.
Web pages or portals: Last name, initial of the author(s), (year). Name of the article or chapter. Name of material consulted. Retrieved from (email address) Example: Dawson, J., Smith L., Deubert, K. & Gray S.S. (2002). S Trek 6: Referencing, do not plagiaris. Retrieved from htpp://studytrekk.lis.curtin.edu.au

Textual quotes must indicate the data and format established in subsection a, written in italics or between 11-point quotation marks, with internal indentation.

If footnotes are used, these cannot be the references indicated in the previous sections. The format of the notes is free.

8. The file of the works must be sent to the email: vertice@unison.mx

9.All submitted works will be subject to double anonymous arbitration. Communicating to the author(s) the opinion and observations received for their corresponding attention.

10.The authors of the collaborations that are accepted for publication undertake to grant exclusivity of publication to Vértice Universitario Magazine during the time of the general process of arbitration, editing and publication (print and digital). The parallel sending of the work to other editorial bodies during this period implies the automatic cancellation of its publication.

11.The delivery of works for publication to Vértice Universitario Magazine constitutes an implicit declaration of authorship and holds the authors directly responsible in case of plagiarism. Releasing the Editorial and Scientific Committees, the Magazine and the University of Sonora from any responsibility.

12.At the request of the Editorial Committee of the Journal, the authors must submit a signed declaration of authorship. Failure to deliver this document will be grounds for rejection of its publication.

13.All policies, procedures and general publication situations, including the decision and sequence of publication, are the responsibility of the Editorial Committee of the Vértice Universitario Magazine of the Division of Economic and Administrative Sciences.

14. Matters not provided for in this Call will be resolved by the Editorial Committee of Vértice Universitario Magazine. This Call is open as of its publication.
