Abstract

The decision maker actor is defined as the person who is
in charge of an organization or one of its subunits. The Decision Makers play many important roles depending on aspects of political leadership, direction political administrative and bureaucratic leadership.
With regard to the decision maker, it’s important to distinguish the task involved on leadership, monitoring, control and performing the operations.
For the performance of that the decision maker been at the
optimal levels, it’s relevant for him to have personal, intellectual, relational and organizational or management skills.
It is noteworthy that the type of skills required, depends on
the hierarchical or directive position that the decision maker actor holds within the organization concerned.
In addition to this, it is important to note that there are differences between Decision maker and the leader. The importance of the actor, who makes decisions, is that the decisions influence in every level of the organization - positively or negatively-, because they affect defining strategies, policies and action plans on the management of the organization, either public or private one.
