Conceptual elements on the urban issue

Abstract

Undoubtedly, addressing the issue of urban planning requires an effort of abstraction that frees us from falling into naive forms of interpretation and involves identifying this phenomenon with the simple good or bad layout of the streets of a specific locality; or, to consider the size and dynamics of growth of cities as the mechanical product of geographical factors, or of the location of industrial processes that are included within the neoclassical theory of urbanization.
