Abstract

Economic globalization is forcing countries to seek means and alternatives for integration, a trend from which Mexico is no exception, as it seeks to take firm steps towards linking up with other countries. Integration is a necessary step in order to survive in this new globalized reality with clear tendencies towards the “blocking” of nations. If the country is interested in overcoming its current situation, it will establish technical criteria to serve as guidelines in this inevitable integration process.
