Current Marx?
Keywords:
Marx, Alfredo Erquizio, Marx's hypothesesAbstract
Under the seal of the University of Sonora, Alfredo Erquizio Espinal published the book Las Hypótesis de Marx. The Current Debate, corresponding to number 15 in the Academic Texts collection. This work joins the author's two previous books: the first published in 1992, titled Socialism. Theory, Crisis and Reforms; and the second that came to light in 1996 and called Economic Cycles. Morphology, Models and Theories; both published by Editorial Unison.
With this, his most recent book, Alfredo Erquizio exhibits his persistence in rethinking Marx. Undoubtedly the work contains a very valuable personal interpretation in which he assumes the defense of the validity of Marxism. Furthermore, it includes the debate that has arisen in the last twenty years around Marx's great hypotheses. Parenthetically, we can affirm that the richness of this debate is fundamentally located in three countries: France, the United States and England, in that order of importance.
