Social Responsibility in family businesses In the municipality of Tabasco Center

This study is referred to one of the issues of importance to small and micro enterprises; the absence of social and ethical responsibility of family businesses is also considered other factors that prevent their development and permanence in the market. In the city of Villahermosa Tabasco and try to analyze the reasons why family SMEs are not interested in being socially responsible companies. In this study a research question arises what if the owners of family businesses knew the long-term benefits would have on sustainability and quality of life, a good number of them will be interested in being an ESR?
There are several different factors that hinder the development of SMEs family, among them are: the credit constraints, the structure of the company, training, technology, lack of markets to name a few, but we can add the absence social and ethical responsibility. These factors have slowed somewhat family growth SMEs and the lack of long-term benefits of being an ESR has also been absent for long.
Under these conditions, companies are destined to bankruptcy for lack of a socially responsible organization that will enable sustainability remained and prestige in the market.
Small family businesses can have social and ethical responsibility as a factor in their favor thus the chances of staying in the market would be of greater expectations. As this study indicates, it is an ESR is not a matter of money, but if quality and prestige that the company will give sustainability to guarantee its permanence and quality of life for people who work there. We believe that ethical values are mostly important in this type of business because they are usually managed and their owners are a family (father,
mother and children).
This paper aims to highlight the importance representing the social and ethical responsibility in family businesses in the city of Villahermosa Tabasco, and analyze the benefits and long-term benefits it represents for the company as a socially responsible
MSMEs.
