Abstract

Society demands enormous efforts from its government to achieve an efficient and productive public administration that is strengthened day by day and modernized in accordance with the development of the entity. The Mexican state, like any organization, has the need to establish control mechanisms that allow it to ensure its proper functioning.

The word control is closely related to the exercise of the functions of the state, located as part of the process
with interacting elements, in which the monitoring of government actions acquires meaning to the extent that there are previously specific policies, plans and programs, with well-defined objectives and goals.

Control can be defined as those elements that are adopted in the administration to safeguard resources, obtain sufficient, timely and reliable information, promote efficiency in activities and ensure adherence to laws, regulations, standards and current policies, in order to achieve compliance with established goals and objectives.
