Abstract

The current discussions on globalization have led us to try to define this category. The term globalization appeared in the early 1980s in the Anglo-Saxon world. Anglo-Saxon intellectuals and journalists began to speak of globalization. In particular, it is in the literature devoted to multinational companies that the term has its origins from the 1960s. Later, these designated a complex phenomenon of opening of political borders and liberalization that allows economic activity to unfold throughout the world. The concept, as we will see later, has evolved over time, such that it is used to designate diverse realities.
