ANALYSIS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS THAT CONDITION THE RISK OF INSOLVENCY IN INDUSTRIAL SMES
Keywords:
Insolvency Risk Prediction, Bankruptcy, Logistic Regression, Industrial SectorAbstract
The use of models that make it possible to anticipate the existence of financial problems has become a fundamental tool for business management, especially in environments of economic uncertainty such as the one in which we currently find ourselves. The consideration of three fundamental issues: the development of sectoral models, the incorporation of non-financial variables and the time horizon considered, can improve the models obtained so far. The purpose of this work is to obtain three logistic functions that measure, respectively, the risk of an industrial SME entering bankruptcy proceedings three, two and one year in advance and to analyze the relevant variables in each case.
