Current situation of the Mexican stock market

Abstract

This paper to provide a more consistent idea of the reality of the Mexican stock market, because with such sensational profits from 2003 to 2007 and the losses of 2008, some people are confused and do not know what to expect. They thrive in the work functions of the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, as it operates, requirements to participate as issuers and especially to stay. We analyze the number of issuers registered and the number of shares traded on average per day. Comparing 2008 results with other stock exchanges around the world. Showing the annual returns of the Mexican stock exchange and inflation for 2003 to 2008 and stock availability of foreign companies in Mexico and acquisition market
