Standards for publication

Guide for authors

The document will not be considered for evaluation if it does not meet all the requirements set out in the Standards for publication, Guidelines for authors and the Checklist for a new shipment.

1. All works submitted for publication in the Journal must be anonymous (the author(s)'s details should not appear in it, nor any reference that identifies them), unpublished and original.

2. The works may be articles within the framework of Economic and Administrative Sciences and related sciences in Spanish and English.

3. Individual or collective works may be submitted, by no more than three authors each registered on the platform. 

3a. All authors must be registered at the time of submission. Late registration of an author will NOT be accepted, with NO EXCEPTION.

3b. The curriculum vitae, email address, and ORCID number fields must be completed for each of the authors of the article in question.

3c. The corresponding author must be identified; the progress of the contribution review will be monitored with them.

3d. No author or co-author may appear more than once in the same issue, and a year and a half must pass before they can publish again.

5. The works must be accompanied by a cover page, with complete information about the article, the name of the author(s) - these names must only appear on this cover page - and the CV of each of the author(s). of no more than 4 lines with the following data: academic degrees, current position, institution, ORCID scientific identifier, research group - if applicable - and email address of each one. The order of authors must correspond to the level of participation in the work.

6. The length of the work must be from 15 pages to 20 pages, including graphs and tables. The capture format must be in Word, with Times New Roman font at 12 points with 1.5 line spacing; general margins at 2.5 centimeters; and lower pagination at the end of the page. Charts and graphs must indicate title at the top and source at the bottom, and be in editable format.

7. Citations and references should follow the style proposed in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition (download).Whenever possible, the DOI is provided in the references section.

8. All submitted works will be subject to double anonymous arbitration. Communicating to the author(s) the opinion and observations received for their corresponding attention.

9. The authors of the collaborations that are accepted for publication undertake to grant exclusivity of publication to Vértice Universitario Journal during the time of the general process of arbitration, editing and publication (print and digital). The parallel sending of the work to other editorial bodies during this period implies the automatic cancellation of its publication.

10. The delivery of works for publication to Vértice Universitario Journal constitutes an implicit declaration of authorship and holds the authors directly responsible in case of plagiarism. Releasing the Editorial and Scientific Committees, the Journal and the University of Sonora from any responsibility.

11. At the request of the Editorial Committee of the Journal, authors must submit a signed declaration of authorship. Failure to deliver this document will be grounds for rejection of its publication.

12. All policies, procedures and general publication situations, including the decision and sequence of publication, are the responsibility of the Editorial Committee of the Vértice Universitario Journal of the Interinstitutional Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences.

13. Matters not provided for in this Call will be resolved by the Editorial Committee of Vértice Universitario Journal. This Call is open as of its publication.
