Dysfunctions that affect the loss of confidence and commitment of staff can be originated by the difficulties faced by companies. These difficulties are due to the economic and social environments and by the companies’ needs to adapt structures and staff behaviors in an effort to effectively respond to changes. For this reason, our research analyzes, using a socioeconomic diagnosis, these impacts within a textile company and show empirical evidence on how economic pressures caused by the lack of stability in sales and the lack of coordination of human factors and materials within the organization generate absenteeism and personnel rotation/turnover.
