This research addresses the issue ‘Which is the ideal combination required to achieve talented advertising campaigns?’ from the perspective of university students studying the subjects Advertising II and Advertisement Campaigns, in which creativity
techniques and their use are involved; experts in creative processes were also consulted, considering their advertising and communication careers, respectively. The way in which the above mentioned perspectives complement each other is explained, in
an attempt to help improve the educational quality of the Marketing and International Business majors, since said careers are mainly based on the use of creativity. It is a descriptive study; its purpose is to aspects of studies, and experiences about creativity
techniques. As well as its practice and application in the advertising and graphic fields of creative processes.
We conclude that both creativity techniques and creative processes, applied in the development of an advertising campaign, are the factors that positively influence students’ performance by encouraging them to develop their talent, ability and inspiration in
the advertising area. Therefore it is recommended that the syllabi of subjects related to advertisement include these tools, thus achieving successful performance and results while revealing that creativity is necessary and should apply to all aspects and stages of human life.
