Sustainability, a livelihood: University of Sonora Case

Abstract

The word sustainability is not a fad is a necessity, worldwide, is required to take into account what the world demand in the field, becoming inescapable humanity aware of what needs to be done to benefit the environment. It is important that from the earliest years of schooling to go fostered sustainable development education and supporting the responsible use of energy and other natural resources to not further damage the environment of society. The University of Sonora, make the effort to promote this activity, through the implementation of various strategic, as demonstrated in some of his students work presented here through the contents of their study programs, the promotion of research in the field by forming lines of academic research in the area and especially with the implementation of the Institutional Development Plan which shows a great interest in the subject.
