The regional sustainability in Sonora, from national environmental approach

In essence, the environmental behavior in Mexico is governed by a legal framework establishing maximum permissible emission of pollutants, established in relation to the population density and the emission source. So legally it acts against organizations, if exceeded allowable ranges: or by public denunciation, or externalized to the population damage accumulation of pollutants.
Taking into account the above, in this work the state plan Sonora state environmental matters discussed in order to understand the vision of sustainability from state management.
The methodology applied was a semantic study of the news published in 2010 by Semarnat on its website categorizing lines attention of the national program, and closed with various social sectors of the state in 2010 study coordinated by the State Delegation of SEMARNAT, with intend to conduct an environmental and social assessment to define a strategic plan. The methodology was qualitative and allowed recognize the different national and state visions during the presidential term (2006-2012 Lic. Felipe Calderon Hinojosa), as conclusions resulting lack of coordination with local and social needs, and the transfiguration approach towards regional sustainability required a national line.
